This page is about the website

It covers this website only. The Ecole software itself holds students' records for the schools that use it, and how that data is handled is set out in a separate written agreement with each school rather than here. If you are a school considering Ecole and you want to see that agreement, ask us for it.

No analytics, no cookies, no trackers

This site loads no analytics, sets no cookies of its own, and carries no advertising pixels, session recording or social embeds. The typeface is served from this site rather than from a font service, so opening the page makes no request to a third party at all.

If we add analytics later we will ask you first, and this page will say so before it happens rather than after.

If you send us your details

The contact form asks for school name, your name, your role, phone number, city, roughly how many students. We use what you write to call you back and to work out whether Ecole suits your school. We do not sell it, share it with anyone else, or add you to a mailing list.

What the host records

The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, their servers keep ordinary request logs, which include the address your request came from and which browser made it. That happens for every website you visit and it is not something we read or keep ourselves.

Children

This site is written for the adults who run schools. It collects nothing from or about children, and no student's record appears anywhere on it. The registers and names shown in the examples are invented.

Asking us about your information

If you have written to us and want to know what we hold, or want it deleted, email info@jalsax.com and we will do it. There is no form to fill in.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
